• How can I find a listing of the career opportunities that are available?

  A complete listing of all of our employment opportunities is located on this career site. You may click here to search available job openings.

• How do I apply?

  You must complete an online application, which can be found on our Job Search page. Once you find a job opening that you are interested in, you can click on the Click Here to Apply Online link that will walk you through the online application. Computer kiosks are available in our Human Resources department for your convenience; however, you are able to apply from any computer with internet access.

• Do I need a username and password to apply online?

  Yes, the first step is to create a profile that will prompt you to create a username and password. Please keep your username and password handy as you will need it to return to your profile once you have completed an application. Once you create your username and password you can then begin completing your online application.

• What information do I need to complete an application? How long will it take?

  You will need your personal contact information, educational background information and employment history. It can take approximately 25-30 minutes to complete an online application.

• What if I am interested in several positions, do I need to complete an application for each one?

  Yes, you do need to submit an application for each employment opportunity that you are interested in. The good news is that once you submit the first application, our applicant tracking system saves all of your information in your profile. When you apply for another position, you click to apply for that job opening and login using your previously created username and password. This will retrieve your last updated application and ask you if you would like to proceed using the same application.

• What if I forgot my username and password?

  On the login page, there is a link to click on that says “forgot username and password”. Click on this link to retrieve your username and password

• How often are the employment opportunities updated on the website?

  All employment opportunities are updated on a weekly basis.

• After submitting an application, how long does the process take? Will someone contact me?

  Once you complete an online application, we will review your application in a timely manner. If your application is selected for further consideration, you will typically be contacted within two weeks. We are unable to contact every applicant due to the heavy application volume that we receive; however, you can check the status of your application in your employment profile.

• How can I verify that my application has been received?

  You will receive an email confirming receipt of your online application. You can also confirm the receipt by checking your employment profile.

• Who do I contact to check the status of my application?

  You can check the status of your application online by logging into your employment profile. Click on the Application History tab to view the status of your application.

• What if the position I am looking for is not listed?

  If the position you are looking for is not listed, you can create a profile by selecting the Login Now link at the bottom of the career search section. In your profile, under the Job Agent tab, you can list any position(s) of interest and you will automatically be sent an email once the position(s) becomes available.

• My keyword search is not providing any matches, what should I do?

  If the keyword is not finding an exact match, try searching all positions instead of using a keyword.

• What does your pre-employment screening process entail?

  After an offer of employment is extended and accepted, a comprehensive background investigation will be conducted. Once we receive the results, you will then be scheduled for a pre-employment physical. Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of the background investigation and pre-employment physical.

• If I am a current Huntington Hospital employee, how do I apply for a transfer?

  Current Huntington Hospital employees must complete a transfer request to apply for another position/department within the hospital. After finding a position/department of interest, click on the Transfer Request for Current Huntington Employees link to create a profile and complete the transfer request. You are encouraged to attach a resume along with your transfer request. Please note that you must be transfer-eligible to be considered for the position.

• Does Huntington Hospital accept new graduate registered nurse applications?

  We do offer a New Graduate Intern Training program twice a year during the summer and winter quarters. Please visit our program page for more information.

• Does Huntington Hospital sponsor foreign work visas?

  Huntington Hospital does not sponsor visas.
